वाढती रुग्णसंख्या पाहता टाळेबंदी आणि संचारबंदी सारखे कठोर पाऊल उचलणार असल्याचे बेल्जियमचे पंतप्रधान एलेक्झेंडर डी यांनी स्पष्ट केले आहे. बेल्जियमचे मंत्रिमंडळ आणि आरोग्य विभागाच्या अधिकाऱयांची तातडीची बैठक पार पडली आहे. या बैठकीत रात्री 12 वाजल्यापासून सकाळी 5 वाजेपर्यंत संचारबंदी लागू करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
