कुपवाड एमआयडीसीतील मुख्य रस्त्यावर मालवाहतूक करणाऱ्या टेंपोतुन गुटखा साठयाची बेकायदेशीर वाहतूक करताना सावळी येथे राहणाऱ्या एका संशयितास कुपवाड पोलिसांनी रंगेहाथ पकड़ून अटक केली. पोलिसांनी त्याच्या ताब्यातील एका टेम्पोसह गुटखा साठा मिळून २ लाख ४६ हजार १६३ रुपयांचा मुद्देमाल जप्त केला. चाकण चौकात पोलिसांनी गुरुवारी सायंकाळी ही कारवाई केली.
या कारवाईत संशयित जालिंदर ज्ञानदेव पाटील (वय ४०, रा.दत्तनगर, साईनगर, सावळी) असे अटक केलेल्या संशयिताचे नाव आहे.
