कोलंबियात दिवसभरात 12 हजार 196 नवे रुग्ण सापडले आहेत. यापूर्वी ऑगस्टमध्ये एका दिवसात 13 हजार 55 रुग्ण आढळून आले होते. अध्यक्ष इवाक डुके यांनी आरोग्य मंत्रालयाच्या अधिकाऱयांसोबत बैठक घेतल्यावर नागरिकांकरता इशारा दिला आहे. सणासुदीच्या काळात संयम बाळगा, कारण संक्रमण कमी होण्याऐवजी वेगाने फैलावत असल्याचे त्यांनी म्हटले आहे.
