अमेरिकेत मागील 24 तासांत 1,813 जणांचा मृत्यू झाला असून 21 हजार 712 नवे रुग्ण आढळले आहेत. सद्यकाळात अमेरिकेत 14,30,348 जणांना कोरोनाची लागण झाली असून 85,197 रुग्णांना जीव गमवावा लागला आहे. न्यूयॉर्क प्रांतातच 3 लाख 50 हजारांपेक्षा अधिक बाधित आढळले आहेत. तर 27 हजार जणांचा बळी गेला आहे. अमेरिका 1 कोटी चाचण्या पूर्ण होण्याच्या समीप पोहोचल्याचे उद्गार अध्यक्ष डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प यांनी काढले आहेत.
